Scoring Distinction In Exam
Thank you, Pastor Prince, for transforming my life through your Jesus-centered preaching. I was saved in 2003, but I did not know the love of God and was worn out trying to please God. I also felt condemned and feared losing my salvation. However, all these changed when I started listening to your messages.
It has now been about two years since I started feeding from your ministry through your books, CDs, DVDs, broadcasts and MP3 downloads. Partaking of the Holy Communion has also become part of my daily life.
Two months ago, I had an International Business MBA examination. On the day of the examination, I arrived at the venue 30 minutes earlier but when the examination was about to begin, I discovered that I was at the wrong examination venue!
I quickly left the room and headed to the reception area to find out where the correct venue was. My heart raced as panic and fear started to settle in because the clock was ticking. I would not be allowed to enter the examination room after 30 minutes, which would mean that I would have to repeat the examination next semester and pay an additional fee.
The correct venue was 30 minutes away and on my way there, I remembered that I was God’s beloved and that I have His favor. I was reminded that Jesus had already gone before me to perfect all that had gone wrong and that I was still righteous no matter what happens. So I started resting in Jesus’ finished work at the cross and in His love for me. Praise God, I was allowed to enter the examination room when I arrived. It turned out that I was only seven minutes late because the examination had started 23 minutes later than scheduled!
God had favored me even to the point of causing the examination to start later with no specific reason. As a result, I was able to finish all the questions on time although at that point, I did not think that I would score well. I was expecting a C or D grade because I was still somewhat panicky when I arrived at the examination room, and it took me a while to settle down and remember what I had studied. And since I had started seven minutes later than everyone else, I had to complete all three essays more quickly than I had expected to.
However, contrary to my expectation, God surprised me with a DISTINCTION in that subject. I give all the glory to Jesus and I know that He did the examination for me.
Pastor Prince, I may not be able to see you and thank you personally, but I know that in heaven we will meet and rejoice forever. Thank you so much.
