My first visit to a church was sometime in March 2014. On that day, I picked up a Christian magazine that had an article titled, The Power of Right Believing, written by Pastor Joseph Prince. The article talked about believing for God’s supernatural healing and I was very moved after reading it.

I am fifty-one years old and I have had a drinking and drug problem ever since I was a teenager. I had a minor stroke two years ago and suffered from heart issues after that. So for the first time in my life, I prayed for “supernatural healing” for my body. I prayed that I would be free from my addictions and healed of my heart problems.

The following Sunday, I went to church and accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. It has been three months since my prayer. I’m so happy to say that I no longer suffer any withdrawal symptoms from my addictions and my doctors cannot find any signs of damage to my heart!
