I became a Christian more than 22 years ago. I was zealous for the things of God and even took up Bible studies. However, I was reluctant to share the gospel with others as I was still smoking and believed I would not be a good testimony to others.

I attempted to quit countless times but to no avail. It reached a point where I felt overwhelmed by condemnation, and this led to bitterness and strife consuming me. Eventually, I left my church. That was 12 years ago.

In early 2023, I bumped into a former church member. We started chatting, and he shared with me the gospel of grace. I was skeptical, but he assured me that what I might have heard about the gospel of grace was not the complete picture. He shared 2 of Pastor Prince’s YouTube videos with me, advising me to watch them to the end.

After finishing the 2 videos, I decided to watch more of Pastor Prince's sermons. Within one month of watching Pastor Prince’s sermons, I decided to quit smoking again, this time by partaking of the Holy Communion daily and declaring, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus,” with every puff of the cigarette.

Within less than a month, I was completely delivered from 40 years of smoking bondage without any withdrawal symptoms. I was also set free from the grudges I carried.

Today, I am totally set free by the truth, and the joy of the Lord is fully manifested in me, to such an extent that all my friends started asking me about the changes they’ve seen in me, which has given me the opportunity to openly share the gospel of grace with them.

Romans 1:16 comes alive to me: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.” Thank you, Pastor Prince, for preaching the gospel faithfully. All glory and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ.
