Son’s Wedding More Than Provided For Through Early Sale Of House
Two and half years ago, I caught 10 minutes of one of your sermons and I remember thinking, “Is this really the true teaching of God for us Christians?” I remember searching for your programs and listening to them over and over again. God has transformed my life through you and I thank Him for your ministry! He has also transformed my faith and I’ve never looked back.
My husband is ill and I had to quit working to take care of him. Our home was going into foreclosure and at the same time our son was getting married. We had to sell our home before the bank took it or we would not have been able to have a proper wedding at all. I believed in God’s desire to bless me and show favor toward me from your messages on unmerited favor and provision for me.
I had prayed to God that the house had to sell at least a month before the wedding. I made all the plans and put down the down payments in preparation for the wedding. I kept talking to God about how I knew He loved weddings as He has been planning one for His Son a long time! God told me, “Susan, I have sold your house.”
At that time, no one could sell their home at all as the market was flooded with bank owned homes selling for much less than what they were worth. Our home had also become completely run down and we could not afford to maintain it. But I kept praying and believing against all odds for our home to be sold.
In the end, God brought a buyer for our home who paid $50,000 more than it was worth and our house sold two months before it was set to go back to the bank. In addition, we received our money on July 6 when the wedding was August 6, exactly one month early.
The amount sold was also enough for us to pay all the mortgages and unpaid property taxes. God’s fingerprints were definitely all over the sale as I’d been standing on the revelation of Peter catching a double portion of fish for the back taxes. When all transactions were concluded and all the back taxes paid, I realized that the name of the buyer for our home was Fischbach, which means a brook full of fish in German! I was so moved by the faithfulness of God in these small details!
Our God is an awesome God. I pray that others will be blessed in hearing of the faithfulness of Jesus Christ to bless us with supernatural favor. May God bless you Joseph Prince and all who are part of New Creation Church.
