Transformed By Grace, Living From Victory To Victory
I am a 62-year-old man with a very blessed business. I received Jesus as my Savior when I was a youth. But all my life, I had been trying to please God by being obedient and serving at the boards of different churches and ministries. But instead of going from victory to victory, I felt like my life was a disappointment to God because I could not keep up with all the dos and don’ts of being a Christian!
Then one day, I came across your Destined To Reign program on television. I watched in disbelief. Although I was doubtful about your message, I continued to watch your program daily. I even bought your books along with a Bible to take on an Alaskan cruise with my wife.
My objective of doing that was to refute what you were teaching for it sounded too good to be true. So as my wife and I sat in the library of the ship, I read your books and looked up the referenced scriptures in my Bible. To my surprise, I found what you were teaching to be the truth and I ended up weeping out loud right there in that public place surrounded by strangers.
For the first time in my life, I heard the good news—the gospel of grace. And to tell you that it has changed my life would be an understatement, because it has transformed my life! Right teaching, right thinking, right living!
I now see myself as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, cloaked in His righteousness. My focus is on Jesus—His grace, His love for me and His accomplishments on the cross. As I rest in Him and His finished work, He transforms me from within and everything is now filtered through His grace—every viewpoint, every trial, every blessing.
I could go on and on about the transforming power of His love in my life and the restful increase of His blessings in every aspect of my life as I focus on His grace. I am going from victory to victory and I have seen 2 Corinthians 9:8—“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work”—come to pass in my life.
Although I have been a Christian for a long time, I had never shared my faith with anyone. It was because I didn’t have the Good News, but just the law of dos and don’ts that I myself could not keep. However, after hearing the gospel of grace, I cannot keep the good news to myself. So two years ago, I began sharing the gospel of grace at church boards. I am also planning to share it with more friends, some of whom are pastors of large churches. I have shared with each that whatever success or glory they have seen via the ministry of law and grace is nothing compared to what they will see via the ministry of pure grace.
Pastor Prince, thank you and may God continue to bless all that you do!
