During one of my lunch breaks, I listened to Pastor Prince’s CD sermon titled, Speaking God’s Language Of Faith. In this sermon, you prayed Mark 11:24—“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them”—together with the congregation and reminded them to note down the date and content of their prayers. After listening to the sermon, I prayed for financial blessings upon my family as my husband had been laid off twice in the last three years.

Sometime later, my boss called me into her office. She told me I was getting a raise! This was totally unexpected because the company I worked for was facing financial difficulty. In the past years, it had closed down a few offices and had even cut employees’ working hours. I have been working with this company for over three years and had never received any salary increase or extra compensations. There was no explanation for this unexpected raise except the favor of God.
